How to Post a Wanted Listing

Click on the "WANTED" tab in the top navigation.

To create your Wanted Listing, click on the "Get started" button on the bottom of the Wanted Listings page.

Please note: you have to be signed in in order to create a Wanted Listing. If you're not signed in or don't have a My Little Salesman account yet, you will be prompted to either sign in or create an account. Once you're signed in, you will be forwarded to the "New Wanted Listing" page.

Fill out the Wanted Listing form. We recommend that you provide as many details as possible. The information entered is searchable in our site search engine. More detailed information in the description increases the likelihood that others will find your listing.

Use a short but descriptive title of the item you're selling, e.g. Used 2011-2014 Caterpillar 336E.

Select the type of the equipment you're selling from the drop down list.

Select the category of the equipment you're selling from the drop down list.
​

Select the manufacturer of the equipment you're selling from the drop down list.

Tip: for easier and faster search, type in the first few letters of the manufacturer. The list will populate based upon the letters you type in.

Select the model of the equipment you're selling from the drop down list.

If you can't find your model, simply type in the model name and we'll add it pending a review.

Select the condition of the equipment you're selling: New, Used, Remanufactured, Dismantled.

Enter the model year of your equipment.
​

Select the number of pieces of equipment you're looking for from the drop down list.
​

Specify, when you intend to purchase the wanted equipment. Select one of the following from the drop down list: Immediate, 1-30 days, 31-60 days, 61-90 days, 90+ days.

Enter your price limit.
​

Enter any additional information that helps sellers understand what you're looking for.

Once you've filled out the form, click on the "Create Listing" button on the bottom of the page. Your Wanted Listing will be added to our Wanted Listing page. You can edit your listing any time.
